About Me

DEBUT EP OUT NOW

Purchase it at the as seen on records online shop or at the local music vendor of your preference.

BIO:
Tea Cozies are Brady, Jessi, Jeff, and Kelly.
Brady is locally known for her multitude of 70's style Prefontaine footwear. She is also famous for her 70's puffy jacket collection. If Brady was a decade she would have been the 70's. She does not, however, enjoy disco.
Kelly is the shortest but also the fiercest of Tea Cozies. She used to live in a ski resort and once delivered pizza to a bear. Kelly is french in origin and is currently being taught (poorly) the language of her forefathers by another member of the band.
That member is Jessi, who in return for the pitiful french lessons, has requested drum lessons. She has yet to receive one. Jessi once spent an entire summer writing anagrams on post-it notes and has an impressive collection of flight attendant style clothing. She becomes dangerous when she is left to her own accord around campfires.
Jeff is the tallest Cozie and also the only native Washingtonian. He researches UFO sightings in his spare time but no longer gets abducted by aliens, due to his triangular keychain. Jeff appreciates the new sincerity movement, creating public art, and reflective bicycle stickers.
PRESS:
"While the ever-present deluge of indie-pop bands in this town can sometimes make it difficult to sort out the merely listenable from the truly exceptional, the Tea Cozies fall squarely in the latter category. Steeped in the transcendent pop of Elastica and the Breeders, stirred in with the soulful swoon of PJ Harvey or Mazzy Star, and topped with the cockeyed, ramshackle energy of early Talking Heads, these just-under-the-radar charmers are a band to watch in the new year."

Bill Bullock, THE STRANGER

"(Named one of the) Best Northwest Bands to look out for in 2007."

Three Imaginary Girls, SEATTLE WEEKLY

"This EP is... really good."
