I'm 52 years old. Enjoy staying home after 27 years of working. I use to work for the East Chicago Public Library. My husband John is retired from the US Army after serving 26 years. He is now employed for the East Chicago Housing Authority as a Section 8 Inspector. We have 5 Children: Veronica (31), Victoria (28), Ernesto (27), George (25) and Elizabeth (18). We also have 7 grandchildren: Shuntee (14), Elizabeth (12), Ramon (10), Brendan(10), Gabriella (8), Alex (6) and Victoria (2). I have a wonderful husband name John we've been together for 25 years. We've had our ups and downs but we've managed to survive. He's my Rock and my strenght when things look down. He always knows what to say when things need to be said. I don't know what I'd do without him.I also have my father whose 90 years old living with us. He has been a pilar of strength and inspiration for all of us. He is a survior. Four years ago he suffered a fall and broke his neck in two places, the doctors thought that was it but he proved the doctors wrong and made a complete recovery. It was long but he did it. So thanks to him we know that there's nothing we can't accomplish in life. We just have to have the will and the faith that things are going to work out.My daughter will be graduating from High School in June of 2007, and she'll be leaving for the Army. Thank God that I have my Vickie and Ronnie. And of course my sons.In my life I've had many obstacles to overcome, my drinking problem, my struggle with depression and panic disorder. I've been able to cope with all of this thanks to my wonderful husband, children and good friends. I'm just glad that through all of this I was able to accept God into my life.
