It's about how hard you get hit, and get back up, and keep fighting...

About Me

Actor, Fight Director. Canadian. Geek, Gamer, lover of things sci-fi and fantasy. Modern day warrior born a couple of centuries too late. I play with swords and weapons for a profession. I make chain maille armour and accessories for a hobby. I wish I had the powers to be a superhero. I hate stupidity and stagnation and have no time for bullshit in life. I believe in remembering the past but never living there, and I aspire to live up to this belief. Cliche I know, but to hell with it, it's a good one. I'm a fighter (dramatically and metaphorically), and a damn good one. If you think that sounds arrogant, come and watch me do what I do and see if I'm arrogant, or just know myself. I'm a walking contradiction at times who loves to talk about anything and everything. I know a little about a lot of things and am always looking to increase my knowledge. Want to know something about me? Just ask.

You scored as XIII: Death. Death is probably the most well known Tarot card - and also the most misunderstood. Most Tarot novices would consider Death to be a bad card, especially given its connection with the number thirteen. In fact this card rarely indicates literal death.Without "death" there can be no change, only eventual stagnation. The "death" of the child allows for the "birth" of the adult. This change is not always easy. The appearance of Death in a Tarot reading can indicate pain and short term loss, however it also represents hope for a new future.

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are very passionate and quite temperamental. While you can be moody, you always crave comfort.
You are a very grounded, responsible, and realistic person. People may not want to hear the truth from you, but they're going to get it.
You believe that people see you as larger than life and important. While this is true, they also think you're a bit full of yourself.
Your near future is still unknown, and a little scary. You'll get through wild times - and you'll textually enjoy it.
For you, falling in love is all about the adventure and uncertainty. You can only fall in love with someone who keeps you guessing. Inside the Room of Your Soul
You Are Wolverine
Small but fierce, you're a great fighter.
Watch out! You are often you're own greatest enemy.
Powers: Adamantium claws, keen senses, the ability to heal quickly Which of the X-Men Are You?

My Interests

Gaming (City of Heroes, D&D, Brave New World, Deadlands, Fireborn...) Weapons and Armour. Stage Combat, movies, books, comic books, theoretical science, philosophy, the supernatural, pirates, anything and everything that makes life interesting and fun.

I'd like to meet:

Colin Farrel, Rachel Weisz, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Bob Anderson, Gary Oldman, Kate Winslet, Ridley Scott, and a whole bunch of dead guys to discuss the techniques of combat (Sun Tzu, George Silver, Cappo Ferro, Aggripa, Musashi, Tibault, Talhoffer).

Music:

Eminem, Linkin Park, Korn, The Killers, Tori Amos, John Williams, Great Big Sea, Howard Shore, Evanescence, various and sundry movie soundtracks like Sin City, War of the Worlds (not the Tom Cruise debacle), Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (original trilogy). If it has a good beat and some power behind it, I'll give it a spin.

Movies:

A brief sample: Star Wars (original and only trilogy), Indiana Jones, The Crow, Fight Club, Sin City, The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribean, Equilibrium, The Lord of the Rings, Ong Bak, Ghost in the Shell, Grosse Pointe Blank, The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Dark City, X-Men, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Blade, Gladiator, Braveheart, Search for the Holy Grail, Ginger Snaps, Rob Roy, The Duellists, Top Gun, King Kong... Basically I like anything with a good story, excellent fights, that compells me to have an emotional connection to it in some way.
