About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / green+blue

I'm a Leo, with Leo rising and Moon in Libra. I'm fun, liberal and moved to Dallas from Minnesota with my boyfriend (His profile is in my 'friends' section). It's way too hot down here. Most people don't get my jokes. I want to be a trophy wife but I can't afford the plastic surgery. I used to be a professional bondage model (yeah-there are pics and movies of me out there somewhere- if you find them, let me know!).
I recently started playing World of Warcraft- I'm not very good at it, but it's fun. I'm on Kirin Tor- and I'm the hottest cow ever! I like Sci Fi Cons, learning new things, playing with my computer. Surfing porn. Thank you, internet!
Leo
July 23- August 22

Best matches
are Aries, Sagittarius, Gemini and
Libra.
Leo is a generous soul, the kind
of person that would give you the shirt off of
their back. Always has a smile, you will be the
first to boast someone's spirits when they are
feeling down. Some of the most creative people
out there are Leo. Your approach to art and
music with a raw unbridled enthusiasm is
unmatched by your peers. Broad minded, you will
be willing to experiment and try new things.
This can be a tad bit dangerous for you as you
tend to take risks sometimes. You will be open
to all kinds of suggestions and get bored
rather easily. Always true to your love, other
will seldom find a Leo cheating on their mate.
You love strongly, and will defend the honor of
those that you love.
Negative traits-
Pompous, patronizing, bossy, interfering,
dogmatic and intolerant
which zodiac fairy are you???

My Interests

Number one interest- Politics and Current Events! I am a total news junkie! I also love Wikipedia- always something interesting to learn there.

OK- If you don't know what 'Tentacle Sex' is, I DON'T suggest you try it! Don't ask me to explain if you see me wearing my T-Shirt. It just makes you look dumb.

adopt your own virtual pet!

I am into anything cool and fun- science fiction, geeky space toys, camping, surfing the net, current events, NFL football. I'm into spirituality and astrology. Equality. Socialism. Saving the planet. Sushi. Good beer (Yay Flying Saucer!).

I also love to travel. I've been to Honduras, Guatemala, Bolivia, Spain and Amsterdam. I still have a lot of places on my list- Guyana, Brussels, Prague, Belize and definitely Amsterdam again- unless they ban mushrooms...

I'd like to meet:

Actual liberals in TX - do they exist?

Someone who can give me a good job at decent pay without having to deal with all the coporate bullshit (My experience is admin asst/office manager of you're interested).

Emporer Ming (actually I met him once- but I haven't seen him since he married me to that drunk starship captain....) Paul Wellstone - rest in peace. I'm sure the competition had him murdered.
John Stewart. Bill Clinton. Chief Iron Thunderhorse. Hugo Chavez. Fidel Castro. Josh Blue. Angelina Jolie. Courtney Love. Pauly Shore. Cindy Sheehan.

Music:

She Wants Revenge. Blue October. Neil Young. Bruce Cockburn.

Different stuff. Older punk and techno. Rave and trance. Pink, BT, Dead Kennedys, Bjork, Devo, Fallout boys, Gwen Stefani, Paranoid Social Club, Propellerheads, Lords of Acid, Soft Cell, Marc Almond. No country (eew).

Movies:

I hate dramas! Let me repeat that- I hate dramas. Too much fucking drama in my own life. I like comedies, action, documentaries. Idiocracy was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time- if you don't get it, you're probably breeding. Some of my recent favorites- Pirates of the Carribean, European Giggolo, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Super Troopers, Von Helsing, Brotherhood of the Wolf, and always- Tank Girl (I want to be just like her when I grow up!)!

Television:

My new all-time favorite- "Reaper" on the CW. Directed by my hero, Kevin Smith! Woo Hoo! One of the funniest shows I've ever seen, and it's great because I can picture a lot of my friends pulling the same pranks.

My Name is Earl. NCIS. Prison Break. Anthony Bourdain - did you see the Beirut episode? Fantastic!

South Park, History Channel, The Original Star Trek series (you can sometimes catch it on G4- I love having a DVR). NFL football on Sunday!

Books:

I don't have a lot of free time, but these are the 2 I've read most recently:

"At the Center of the Storm" by George Tenet- I didn't make it all the way through the book. There is some really good background on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but his writing style is very dry and he seems very defensive of his actions when he was with the CIA. I wonder how much of it the current administration censored.

"The Art of Deception" by Kevin Mitnick- A very intersting book written by a crafty genius, but a lot of the social engineering stuff I already knew. Any woman who has had to track down an unfaithful man has already tried most of these tricks. It's amazing how far you can get by acting like you belong there.

Heroes:

Anyone who tries to be selfless and set a good example.

People who are who they are- I hate fake pretentiousness- The fake blond bimbos crying in the bar bathroom on Saturday night because so-and-so didn't call them- go choke on something!

People who actually are what they pretend to be- I don't know if they exist anymore. People who recycle and try to help the environment- people who don't just talk about it.

My Blog

New feature- Wikipedia link of the day!

Ok- I admit it. I am a Geek. A Nerd. A four-eyed bookworm. That might explain why I get sucked into Wikipedia so often- I look up one subject, and then find links to another interesting subject- then ...

My thoughts on modern Porn (and sex)

Ok- I have to admit- I have a fascination with X-rated early cinema, especially the groundbreaking type. Several groundbreakers I can name- "Alice in Wonderland" yes, the XXX version. It made millions...

When I was a nurse....

It's 5:50am- I'm up, and I shouldn't be. It's not my fault- I've been a terrible insomniac since I was in my twenties. They actually thought I might be bipolar for a while- but I'm not- I just don't s...

This is not my life.

There are some good things about Texas - rent is cheaper, groceries are cheaper. There are good people here. But I really miss Minnesota- even when my life seemed at it's worst, I had a foundation the...

It's crazy that some people wonder why the rest of the world hates us.

I've seen some of the Abu Gharib pictures. They're nauseating. You can find them through Google. Now the courts have ruled that the rest of them have to be made public. Thank you, ACLU! Somebody ...
