LULUMS is Lancaster University's ONLY LIVE MUSIC society and was formed mid-2002 by people who wanted to see more live music in and around the University. The society has very simple aims; to establish a community of musically like-minded individuals, to bring together musicians who would previously not have met, to promote its student bands/musicians by arrange gigs/events for its members to display their musical talent.
Weekly Events
We have THE Open Mic/jam Night (whatever you want to call it...) at Fibber McGees in Lancaster every Monday night from 8pm, come along and have a laugh- free drink token for every performer and you will be fed.
We've moved our nights to a wednesday (unless it's Saturday) night until the end of term we have our awesome slot in Pendle Bar, nights start from 7 and you will definately be entertained! keep an eye out for posters and messages to see what cool bands we will have playing for you this week.
Are You Lancaster University, Do you have some of your songs put on a CD?
Then this oppertunity could be just for you! We are looking for bands that would
like to have some of their own songs put onto a professionally produced CD that
could end up in the LUSU shop for sale.
Here's a good oppertunity for you and your band to get some of your songs out there
to the rest of the Uni!
