Chestnut Media is an Audio and Film Production company based in Marietta, GA. We welcome all professional musicians and artist for recording and networking.Music Video's, Commercials, Short and Feature Films, Documentaries, Event Videography (Such as Weddings) and Television Shows are our main concentration. We now shoot with a Canon XH-A1 3CCD HDV Hi-Definition Camera, with 20X lens offering 60i, 30f and 24f mode.
We also offer ProTools Digital Recording via MAC G5 and Digi 002 and 16 tracks of ADAT, DAT and Analog Tascam M2600 16x8 mixer.
We rent our Live Mackie Sound System, which includes 2 Peavy mains, 2 EV monitors, some microphones and cables.
Tim C is our Production Coordinator who has Produced some sports TV shows, which were broadcast on Comcast Sport South. 25th Peachtree Men's Classic Gymnastics hi-lite show (2008) for Chestnut Media and Courtside with Tony Ingle (2007) with CTC. 7 episodes in such capacities as Game Camera Operator, Studio Cameras, Graphics and (CG) Character Generator, Video Technician, and Segment Producer for "Step" a segment about Jonathan Whipple of KSU Basketball Team. Directing "Passing the Torch" (2007) is what led the way to the 2008 Peachtree being broadcast. Tim C is experienced and a Professional.
Tim C's outside Productions include Associate Producer for the made in Atlanta movie Lynch Mob which was shot in Hi-Definition. It is a Horror movie with Mobsters, Tony Darrow from Sopranos is the lead, and Paul Borghese and John Cornetta in their first movie together. Assisting Indy production Companies throughout Atlanta, Tim's knowledge base is diverse and his contacts within the local scene are increasing.
Tim's first hand at Directing has produced Passing the Torch about a gymnastics coach in Atlanta. See this 5.5 minute short on our video page. Passing the Torch impressed CSS the cable network covering 13 states in the southeast region, and they have asked for a 30 minute hi-lite show to be broadcast on CSS in MAy 2008, of the 25th Anniversary Peachtree Men's Classic gymnastics championships. With a multi-camera shoot we were able to capture the action in HD.
Taking his entertainment career very seriously, you may have seen Tim C on an episode of House of Payne on TBS and other television shows such as Blue Collar TV, and Law & Order Criminal Intent (Bravo, TNT, FOX, USA).
