 Ashcraft bassist Mark Simon interviewed with Rebecca Firth of YourFindit to talk about the band’s music, its history and its future. Hear the audio interview on the Ashcraft YourFindit profile.
Established one year ago by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stanford Ashcraft, the group’s lineup includes Mark Simon (bass), Hal Chiasson (lead guitar) and Eric Aguiar (drums). Immediately signed with Poizen Pop Records in association with Stanford Ashcraft’s previous affiliation, the band has been working on the recording of their debut album.
A 5 song EP is expected to be released within the next two months and will be followed by the band’s 12 song debut album. Although the album is still unnamed, the album will explore the idea of the superstar and the loser in society today. Ashcraft songs such as “Superstar” and “Supernatural Lover” will be included in the album.
