Sleeping in hurricanes

South Tyneside 4 piece metal/rock/grunge band calling themselves 'sleeping in hurricanes' from South Tyneside College consisting of; Chris Storey (guitar and lead vocals), Lee Whitfield (guitar),"David" Garrick (bass) and last but not least Daryl Bolt on the drums.
All are from different band back grounds, yet some have played together in previous bands. The stranger of the group is Garrick. Coming from the least amount of band history, Garrick has had a few non 'suck'sessfull bands.
Chris, Lee and Daryl were in a band a long time ago called Malaena. Unfortunately that didnt work out and Chris ended up joining The Sereya. Daryl joined him soon after. 21 months later they were both fired from the band. They decided to do something in a style of music they both loved and asked one of their good friends, and Garrick (we are startng to love him though in a manly fashion hmm) the random from Chris's music theory class to join them in their quest.
With explosive but simplistic drumming Daryl Bolt adds an edge to the sound and at the same time has perfect timing, knowing how to beat those bad ass drums within an inch of their lives. MyGen Profile Generator
With his swarve bass fills, and pure style, Garrick keeps this big machine running. If it wasnt for him the band would just mess about and never work.
Lee whitfields inavative riffs get the whole thing moving. He writes most of the guitar music for all of the songs and usually has an order worked out. His riffs are totally different to anything else about.
Chris Storeys vocals can be aggresive but they can also be very haunting. He writes about past events and things on his mind. He also plays a mean guitar, though he plays mainly during choruses and solos to add an impact to the sound.
