Awful Racket Promotions was started after i was continuously helping bands out that i had met on tour. I was acting as a third party and pointing them in the right direction with gigs in the north east to help and improve the north easts music scene.
I was sick and tired of seeing wannabe promoters trying to put gigs on which only infuriated the bands and crowds as the promoters had a lack of knowledge of how to run a show. The same promoters would only put bands on that where either friends or a trend band.
The Studio in Hartlepool is an amazing venue which has a 5.5k P.A system and holds 200 people. The venue wasnt being used for metal gigs. I put two and two together and Awful Racket Promotions was born.
I am now recieving to many requests for gigs.If i dont reply straight away its because i am too busy and i am not been arrogant.So now if you would like a gig please send a press pack to; Mr Paul Hartburn

Awful Racket usually puts its gigs on,on a sunday night due to lack of availability at the venue. If you contact me well within advance i can try and organise another night.
All mp3's on this page are to help promote my shows. The mp3's have all been officially authorised by the band/artists.
I mainly promote Thrash/Death/Grind/Black etc. If you are a hardcore-esq, Bring me the horison style metalcore you will not get a show. Please dont contact me.
