Izzy Isgate is a young singer songwriter from the North East. In 2006 she left the comfort zone of her band to take her soulful music to the acoustic circuit. With each performance her audience is growing as the word spreads about her wide range of melodic songs with strong hooks, that are able to take you to the depths of personal exploration and frailty, to more light hearted, contemplative and observational lyrics. An all-encompassing voice carries her with clear diction and sensitivity; diverging her from melancholia and delicate atmospherics to a soaring powerful range. Izzy has performed two live radio sessions and her song "Something about Morgan" was given its first radio air play in October 2006.Izzy's demo will not prepare you for seeing her perform live, just observe any audience when this shy, unassuming young woman steps on stage and you will notice every head turn when her powerful, yet unique, vocal fills every corner of the venue.
