Back With A Promise

About Me

Its about aggression, its about conviction, its about extremesThese three things cannot be overlooked or simply ignored, it was these three things we used as a basis to create fume five years ago.
Our aim was to make music that would not bow down to trends or fashion and would not compromise our ideals in any shape or form.
2004 saw the birth of our first album A History Of Things To Come engineered by Andy Faulkner (Boltthrower, Cathedral) at Sable Rose Studios Coventry. This gave us our first opportunity to focus our aggression and pushed us forward to share the stage with the likes of Stamping Ground, Narcosis, and Dragon Force to name but a few.
2007 sees us standing beside a brand new uncompromising set and looking to make ourselves heard on a larger scale.

Fume are a metal band from Coventry and unfortunately that is the extent of the slim information or knowledge known about them. On investigation, the name appears to be quite common for a rock band an...

www.ninehertz.co.uk review of a history of things to come

This is a monster, and not necessarily in a good way. You know how, in cheap sci-fi films, usually involving people who are destined 20 years later to make a living playing faded alcoholic ex-sports s...

'A History Of Things To Come' review by Toxicpete

'A History Of Things To Come' is rampant hardcore metal. A heavin' metal monster of nightmare-ish vocal contortions and ball-rending riffs. Fume attack the aural senses, cut, thrust and run and leave ...
