Hi, I'm David. Just thought I'd introduce myself in case I left you a message and forgot to sign it. I do that alot. It's a bad habit. Sorry, I'm taking shock therapy for the problem, but I keep wearing out my socks rubbing them on the carpet on the way to the doorknob.

I'm not much of a ME person, so my profile is my place to promote some talented women I either know or like. My musical tastes are rather eclectic, so this could get bizarre. Rock is my first love! There is no greater sound than a cranked-up, overdriven, chorused Les Paul. Well, there is one sound that challenges it... the beautiful voice of a truly talented woman. That's why I love these amazing lady singer/songwriters. My rock-n-roll winds me up and they calm me down.

They put something special in the water down in Oklahoma that grows some of the most beautiful & talented women around. Everyone knows Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood, and if you've visited this page before, you know about indies Kata Hay and Maci Wainwright. Then there's one of Oklahoma's brightest new stars: Katrina Elam!
Katrina's an amazing vocalist and a quality songwriter, but the machine behind her has been running a little sluggish lately, so it's up to us fans to give it a push. We have to help Katrina get some online gigs so more people can discover her and her music. Maybe then her label will wake up and give us that second album!

Regardless of your opinions on politics, it's important to remember the real lives of real people. Katy's amazing! Not only is she a terrific singer, but she's tough, too. First she fights her way back from injuries that could've ended her career in music, and then she has to send her brand new husband off for a tour of duty in Iraq. There are alot of songs about soldiers and their families, but this one is the real deal.

Cool New Music!

Women lock up your men... it's Hilbilly Barbie!

Charlie Davis is one of the most charming young women you'll ever meet. Of course, she does have a bit of a playful side, too. Both come out in her music -- a mix of folk, country, and classic country styles, highlighted by miss Charlie's sweet voice. Her debut EP, "Hillbilly Barbie", is now available. Click pic.

Kata & the Blaze released their debut album, "Reckless", on July 27th. Check it out! Kata's the hottie with the legs. You'll have to go to their MySpace to see what the rest of her looks like (hint: it looks just as good... too bad she's taken). Anyway, Kata and the boys create some cool, genre-bending music you should definitely give a listen to.

Another cool new album you should check out by another cool, new artist...

Country with a healthy dose of Motor City Rock & Soul... and a fantastic, bluesy voice! Plus, she's another looker with great legs. (Yeah, I'm gonna get beat up -- don't let the good looks fool ya, these ladies have talent!) Rachel's "Lonely At The Bottom" came out in June, but you should check it out anyway.

Continuing in the theme of gorgeous women with sexy, sultry voices (and great legs)...

Lauren Lucas just released a 5-song EP, titled "If I Was Your Girl". Funny that the tallest of these 3 would have the shortest CD. Lauren's not short on talent, though. Click the banner to go hear samples from the EP.

Karista Smith's debut album is now available, showcasing her California country style and dramatic voice, with backing instrumentals by Megan Mullins and several Nashville Star bandmembers, and backing vocals by Lisa Torres.
