Hi, I am John Totaro and I am in the Boston-based band TOTARO......... This is my personal site which I started to get more of my music circulating. Thanks for stopping by. ............I have been writing, recording, and releasing my music since the 80's. All of the projects were vehicles to present my songs.......I have played with dozens of line-ups with members who have gone on to everything from minor stardom to jail. This present band TOTARO is the best band that I have ever been in. Nino Tianeli from Tbilisi, Georgia plays Hammond organ, piano, bass and sings. Nino has 3 Conservatory degrees in applied piano but has agreed to be my Benmont Tench/Al Kooper. Rich Lamphear is from Chicago and is the lead guitarist in Totaro. Rich & I trade off guitar parts within songs like our heroes Neil Young & Stephen Stills or the two guys in Television. I first worked with Rich in the early 80's when we were punkers. Sean Russell is recently from Los Angeles and is our drummer.
