But there are no hurt feelings between us, I was elected and became president in 1969. Everything was going fine...until that Watergate mess. Needless to say it was in the best intrest of the American people for me to resign as president of the United States. So I called it quits in 1974. I have earned my place in history though as the only president in history to resign. All Kennedy is remembered for is being assassinated and that whole Cuban Missile Crisis...maybe it's a good thing I lost that election.
