With ten plus years of experience in the Nightlife/Club industry Creators David Richey along with L.A. Kendall Started HotMess in Febuary/2006 @ the War Room (Seattle, Wa.) Owner, Seattle tastemaker & creator of the infamous “Yo Son†Marcus Lalario approached us to help round out the already diverse rotating Friday nights, which include:
“Rags to Richesâ€, “Cherryâ€, “HotMess†& “Gett’inâ€.
Our goal was to fill what we saw as a void in the Seattle queer club scene by having a dance party that featured an all female DJ line up with local & national underground Live performances. Plus hand picked & edited visuals by Devolution to set the mood (which @ the time un-believably was not happening). A success by any ones standards pulling upwards of 400+ people from the start!We have had the rare opportunity to work with & showcase some of the most amazing talent including:
