"ALL SYSTEMS DEAD" in stores May 2nd

About Me

from Rebel Noise- This is it! THE WARNING has delivered unto this wretched world a classic punk rock record. All Systems Dead has all the power, great songs and solid playing. Its everything a true punk record should be. Motorhead is hanging around most of the songs here, but these guys decided to make Motorhead more punk by taking the best of American and English old school punk and making it their own. Now its time for us to make it ours. This is the kind of record that you play all the way through and then for good measure, play it over again. Its just that good!I would suggest that you stop reading this review and march on down to your local indie record store and buy this record! Your neighbors wouldnt be happy at first but after they hear you blasting All Systems Dead more than a few times, theyll thank you. I would. This is a great record! - Waxy Buildup ******************************************from Loud fast Rules ..4 THE WARNING "All Systems Dead" (Punkcore) Fast hardcore punk from Detroit riot city, the Warning should appeal nicely to fans of Blitz, Motorhead, GBH & Discharge. Very powerful stuff here with great guitar riffs, this is extremely heavy without crossing over into metal territory. Another winner from our friends at Punkcore.***********************************The Warning "All Systems Dead" from AMP ...46 "Wow. As soon as this CD starts, as soon as you hear the first note, you know you're in for something seriously rad. Starting off like it's a Motorhead album, it kicks in and kicks you in the gut and never stops until it's finished. think Motorhead meets GBH, with some influences from The Unseen. So basically, rowdy street punk rock amd roll with some seriously buzzing guitars. fast, furious, and pissed as all hell, Detroit's The Warning are a band that you should be hearing a lot about this year, because this one is gonna garner a lot of attention. The third track, "Innocence Gone" is actually reminiscent of Cocksparrer and it's as catchy as hell. Damn good work by these dudes on this CD."- MWB********************************************************* ********************The Warning All Systems Dead from Big Wheel June 2006"I have a friend who I call PFR Matt. I call him that for three reasons. One: I needed a way to differentiate between all teh other Matts in my life. Two: He had to borrow one of my dads old suits for a funeral because, as he put it,all clothes are PFR. What the hell is PFR? Punk Fucking Rock. Duh. Three: Because he truly is PFR to me. Want proof? He still refuses to get a cell phone. Every time we go out, he always brings his CDs with him in my car. Now, I dont know if this is because he thinks my musical tastes suck or if he wants introduce me to more bands, but we listen to whatever he puts in, whether I like it or not. The Warning sounds just like someone he would rock nice and loud for me. It sounds good loud, its offensive, its PFR to the max, but you can still sing to it drunkenly with friends. Gritty punk like we all know and love. Im going to call him at home right now and let him know I got a new CD for him."-Ramone************************************************ *************************The Warning All Systems Dead from Slug Mag"The Warning has a tight arrangement, siren like guitar riffs and catchy lyrics that are perfect for chanting along to with your fist in the air. All Systems Dead contains 12 powerful tracks, none of which seems to be taking up any space. This band stands out because they have a much harder sound than the other bands on Punk Core. All the tracks on the album were great, but my favorite was Innocence Gone. The Warning has something to say and theyre screaming it loud & clear. I bet The Warning patches will be decorating every kid in towns denim vests before you can say circle pit.-Moses************************************************** *************************This review is from Saint Rock n Roll.com"As far as punk music goes, it doesn't get much better than The Warning's "All Systems Dead". The album is a perfect fusion of screamo, old school punk rock, and a hint of metal oriented guitar solos. While Johnny Ramone refused to play anything but power chords and is renowned for it, The Warning exhibits originality and creativity by boldly incorporating guitar solos throughout the record while still sounding so very punk.Unlike many other bands who complain and whine about the corruption of the society, The Warning addresses the problems with a unrelenting fuck it attitude on tracks with titles like "Social Disease", "Innocence Gone" and "Senseless Murder".Though The Warning had been on the Warped Tour for only once in the last few years, "All Systems Dead" have definitely secured the band a spot for years to come. When every single track on the record is enough to start a most pit the size of a club, if not the Warped Tour, then where else?"All Systems Dead" is an awesome punk rock album all old school punk, screamo, and even pop punk fans will love."***************************************************"Ma ny bands are labeled punk these days, but the Warning really have the look and sound of a "true punk" band. With fast beats, harsh vocals and furious guitar solos, the songs drive you right into the ground" -The Detroit News******************************************************** *******************"The Warning have released a full length and left a trail of pure punk destruction in their wake!!" -Real Detroit Weekly****************************************************** *******"Seven originals and a Discharge cover and it all hits like one big brass-knuckled punch to the jaw. Get This!!" -Glass Eye Magazine(Toledo, Ohio)******************************************************* ************************"Kirk M. is a consumate guitar wielding front man with the rare ability to hew to the speed fueled pocket while calling out simple two word refrains like "No Regrets" with aplomb that would do any Motorhead song justice." -Detroit MetroTimes Weekly****************************************************** ********************"Enter the Warning, Detroits answer to every crappy band that ever cut a faux-hawk, played power chords and whored itself out to middle-class teenagers." -Lansing City Pulse******************************************************* **********************"The Warning from Detroit perform in your face punk rock that would do Iggy and any of the Ramones proud." -Highwire Daze(Los Angeles)**************************************************** ********************************"With so many divisions and sub-genres in the scene it is oddly refreshing to hear a band that kicks out the jams without striving for any sound other than a fast and furious one. By not compartmentalizing their sound within any one sub-genre the Warning have what it takes to appeal to fans of everything from thrash to pop to rawk. They are oldschool for the nuschool." -In Music We Trust******************************************************* *************************"A mix of Motorhead meets GBH mixed with modern day UK in the likes of Sick on the Bus. The music here is what sells it for me" -Razorcake
