from Rebel Noise- This is it! THE WARNING has delivered unto this wretched world a classic punk rock record. All Systems Dead has all the power, great songs and solid playing. Its everything a true punk record should be. Motorhead is hanging around most of the songs here, but these guys decided to make Motorhead more punk by taking the best of American and English old school punk and making it their own. Now its time for us to make it ours. This is the kind of record that you play all the way through and then for good measure, play it over again. Its just that good!I would suggest that you stop reading this review and march on down to your local indie record store and buy this record! Your neighbors wouldnt be happy at first but after they hear you blasting All Systems Dead more than a few times, theyll thank you. I would. As soon as this CD starts, as soon as you hear the first note, you know you're in for something seriously rad. Starting off like it's a Motorhead album, it kicks in and kicks you in the gut and never stops until it's finished. think Motorhead meets GBH, with some influences from The Unseen. So basically, rowdy street punk rock amd roll with some seriously buzzing guitars. fast, furious, and pissed as all hell, Detroit's The Warning are a band that you should be hearing a lot about this year, because this one is gonna garner a lot of attention. The third track, "Innocence Gone" is actually reminiscent of Cocksparrer and it's as catchy as hell. I call him that for three reasons. One: I needed a way to differentiate between all teh other Matts in my life. He still refuses to get a cell phone. Every time we go out, he always brings his CDs with him in my car. Now, I dont know if this is because he thinks my musical tastes suck or if he wants introduce me to more bands,but we listen to whatever he puts in, whether I like it or not. The Warning sounds just like someone he would rock nice and loud for me. It sounds good loud, its offensive, its PFR to the max, but you can still sing to it drunkenly with friends.
