The Void see the light under the guide of Diego Fogliacco and the former keyboard player Sergio Tradori.
1999
With the addiction of Andrea Di Martino (dr) and Giorgio Barroccu (bs) the line up is complete.
2000
The Void begin to play live and they join some musical contests
2001
The first demo-CD The void is out, but the guitar player Marco Maello leaves the band.
2002
Between March and April the second demo-CD Her Obscure Heart is being recorded. The style of the band developed and slightly lost its dark connotation, with more melancholic and sad atmospheres
2003
The third demo-CD Farewell is recorded (it is a collection, with two new songs).
The Void sign a contract with MKM Promotion for the promotion of their CD.
“Farewell†is praised as the work of a band with good ideas and means; it is a promise to be maintained!
2003 / 2004
The Void record their first full length CD, Remember, entirely in their home studios.
The self-produced album completely shows the outlined style of the band, that it is sad and aggressive.
October: A contract for the promotion of 'Remember' is signed with MKM Promotion
2005
May: Sergio leaves the band due to personal and time problems. Moreover, a new Guitar player, Pietro Pallavicino, starts a trial period with the band and officially joins The Void in July.
The Void get into knowing AF from La Spezia and organise a couple of great live show with Them. The Void also play with the support of the gothic band Domina Noctis.
The band takes part in “Sanremo Rock†contest and reach the regional finals among really more commercial bands.
2006
The Void start creating some new songs ant think about a new recording experience.
July: due to the impossibility to concern study and the band, Pietro leaves The Void just before the recording sessions start. It is a sad departure.
September: The Void start recording their second self-produced full length CD, “Vision of The Truthâ€. This album is an evolution of Remember sound, even though it is a little more aggressive.
2007
The recording and mixing sessions go on, among all the personal working duties of the band.
June: “Vision of The Truth†is ready and it is officially out in September. The CD receives positive feedback at once, and even My Kingdom Music Production label notices the band.
2008
My Kingdom Music produces and promotes “Vision of The Truth†in Italy and all over Europe. The very first official CD by The Void receives positive feedbacks almost from everywhere.
