Danielle Reed is a professional writer and spoken word artist based in Atlanta, GA. She is part of One Mic Entertainment. The lone female poet in the collective, she always keeps it real whether shes talkin politics or just calling folks out. Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Danielle was introduced to spoken word in 1999 by way of a slam venue and has been hooked every since. She uses her sharp wit and equally sharp tongue to put her unique perspective on everyday observations from the state of hip hop to narcissistic poets and bad pick up lines. Danielle has been seen at open mics venues from Georgia to the West Coast and has featured at spots across Atlanta and the southeast. She has lent her verbal skills to several artists cds and her debut cd, sub VERSE ive was released in May of 2005
