About Me

Some people like to play cards, but me, I like music. I play upright bass in Hobo jazz & for Janet Klein as one of her Parlor Boys. I also play guitar, Ukulele, 4 string banjo & some other stuff. My wife is a dream, my son is a stinker & my mother makes the best beans in the world. I'm part Mexican, part Mississippian, part Idahoian.. I live a fortunate life & I love an older lifestyle. I collect a lot of things relating to vaudeville & musicians. My favorite periods for music are ~1915-1939 & ~1945-1957. I don't like big band swing or bebop and I'm not a lover of such things Liverpudlian. I love Memphis, Mississippi, & New Orleans. I need Another road trip.
We opened a little Vintage store in Redlands, Hobo's Vintage & it's been nice, difficult, but nice.
Every Thursday I spin an all vinyl set of 1920's-80's Jazz, Blues, Soul, Crooners, & Jive. The Vault Martini Bar in Downtown Redlands. 22 E. Vine St. No Cover, 21+, 9ish to late.
