It's not how old you are...but how you are old.

About Me

I've been married to the love of my life since 1958. We have a son and a daughter--both married--and two beautiful granddaughters, ages 18 and 13.

My Interests

My favorite past times are spending time with the family, playing around on the computer, doing needlework (crochet & needlepoint), reading, doing puzzles, watching TV, and listening to music.

I'd like to meet:

Actually, I already know Chris. :)

Music:

Country music is my favorite although I do enjoy other music, too. And my very favorite country artist is Chris Young! I also really like Joe Nichols, Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Josh Turner, Diamond Rio, Blake Shelton, Billy Yates, Gretchen Wilson, Little Big Town, and many others. Some of the best country music today is by independent artists and I have a huge collection of CDs by indie artists: Mike Clifford, Seth Turner, Billy Hurst, Chris Vaughn, Taya Lear, Aaron Watson, Jay Teter, Kristen McNamara, Katelyn Hobson and many more.

Movies:

Most of my favorite movies are older ones: To Kill a Mockingbird, How Green Was My Valley, Gone With The Wind. And I also love comedy; some of my favorite funny movies are: Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Airplane, Young Frankenstein. As you can probably tell, we don't go to movies much anymore but we do buy or rent a lot of DVDs.

Television:

Some of my favorite TV shows are: Amazing Race, Survivor, Nashville Star, The Apprentice, all 3 Law & Order series, CSI, American Idol, Reba, Extreme Makeover:Home Edition & Antiques Roadshow. I also love to watch the Food Network, CMT, GAC, and BBCAmerica. Yes, I'm a reality show junkie! LOL!
