New Damage started out in late 2006 by 5 friends in the Harlem section of New York City. Singer Marc, Guitarist Jon, Bassist Aaron, and drummer known eachother for years back in the great southern town of Fort Smith, Arkansas. They recruited Harlem native Walter on rhythem guitar and New Damage was born. The main element is good old fashion punk rock with a combination of stoner metal, and a touch of southern rock and old country. They played a number of gigs in New York City sharing stage with locals such as Blackout Shoppers, Trauma Team666, The BCP, and others. They recorded a 10 songs cd. Shortly afterwards, bassist Aaron left the band to pan for gold in the Klondike. After much dissapointment, and only a flake of gold, he returned to Fort Smith, Arkansas(Marc and Jon's hometown as well). The band took breaks and occasionally did shows without a bassist. In Febuary 2008, the band recruited new bassist Adrian. New Damage looks foward to play more shows all around the New York metro area
