Pasquale Strizzi

Pasquale Strizzi, born in Foggia Dicember 1987. At the age of 4 he began to study piano with Rosmena Rella. At 11 he started to study jazz at the school of music in Bari “Il Pentagramma” with Vito Di Modugno. In 2000 he is admitted to attend the piano class at the conservatory “Niccolò Piccinni” in Bari. He joined some masterclass: “Arcevia In Jazz 2002”, “Viaggiano Jazz 2003”(PZ), Roccella Jonica 2003 (RC) with Riccardo Zegna, Stefano D’Anna, Lorenzo Tucci, Mario Raja, Danilo Rea and Riccardo Fassi. In 2004 he joined the workshop “La sezione ritmica nel Jazz” with Roberto Gatto. He joined the band STATALE 16 / JAZZ QUARTET (Ale Strizzi – piano, Enzo Mastrapasqua – bass, Michele Di Gioia – drums, Carlo Petruzzellis – guitar) winning the finals at “Baronissi Jazz 2004” in Salerno. The band were placed as 3rd classified in the festival “Jazz Nostrum” in Matera 2004. At “University of Salerno” he attended the “Master Class with Michel Camilo, he attanded also clinics at Siena Jazz: “seminari senesi di musica Jazz”. He Played at the Festival “jazz e dintorni” in Lauria (PZ) with the band “Ale Strizzi Trio”, and “Gezziamoci” in Matera with his band “Statale 16”. He won at “Massimo Urbani 2004” the prestigious scholarship for Berklee at Umbria Jazz 2005. He attended stages with Bobby Durham and Massimo Faraò at “Pentagramma” in Bari and he taken some lessons with Dado Moroni. In the 2005 he attended the Umbria Jazz Clinics at Berklee Summer School in Perugia where he won the scholarship for Berklee College of Music in Boston. He’s been selected by Giovanni Tommaso as pianist in the band “Berklee at UJ 2005 School Group”. He played at 12^ edition of Umbria Jazz Winter in Orvieto with the Berklee Group 2005 and at “Cantina Bentivoglio” in Bologna. Keybordist and pianist in the “jazz Break Project”, Sperimental band that mix jazz dance, break dance, and jazz music. He played as guest at the concert “Bari in Cuore” at Teatro Team with Mario Rosini. In the 2006 he played at Cantina Bentivoglio in Bologna with the band “Umbria UJ 2005”. Afterwards he performed in others concerts with others musicians Strizzi Nobile Bruno Jazz trio at Cantina Bentivoglio in Bologna. In the 2006 he attended a master class with Joey Calerazzo. He is attending the Berklee College of Music as full time student. During the summer 2007 he played at the Caribbean Sea Jazz festival in Aruba. He performed with : Fabrizio Sferra, Paolino Dalla Porta, Giulio Visibelli, Lorenzo Tucci, Vito di Modugno, Guido Di Leone, Giuseppe Bassi, Gegè Telesforo, Roberto Gatto, Pier Foschi(Jovanotti…), Stefano Fariselli(Area, Steve Gadd), Bobby Durham, Fabrizio Scarafile, Marcello Nisi(Antonio Faraò), Alex Han(Marcus Miller, Paquito D’Rivera..) and others…
