About Me

[antiparty gang] is a group of people who joined their efforts to promote new media arts in kazakhstan and central asia. established in june 2004. is represented by:
- konstantin timoshenko – dj, musician, curator, co-founder
- roman arefiev – visual artist
- ruslan getmanchuk – visual artist, operator
- alexander chikmakov – musician
- denis kolokol – journalist, curator, promoter, organizer, co-founder
past members:
- val alishev - promoter, left the group in 2006
- katya nikonorova - designer, illustrator, video-artist, left the group in mid 2007
[antiparty gang]'s projects:
- REPLICA festival ( www.replicafest.org ) for contemporary experimental media art (the 1st event of its kind in kazakhstan)
- POLDNIK - series of electroacoustic events that explores a new space every other time
- TECHNIKA MOLODEZHI - series of events devoted to the history of electronic pop-music
- Antiparty(?) - [antiparty gang]'s birthdays, small and extreme events with no special format
- SoundVision - festival for UK contemporary electronic music and video art.
