Sounds Like: AkkordIon is a unique duo from Kazakhstan/Bulgaria, two professionally trained musicians – Roman Bliznetsov (22 y.o., accordion) and Konstantin Timoshenko (34 y.o., percussive, laptops, electronics). They produce a unique blend of minimal techno and abstract ambient with the sound of accordion! Roman studied accordion and harmonica at the musical college in Alma-Ata, played with various musical ensembles, and now he is occupied as a DJ. Konstantin is a professional drummer and music producer, he is a founder of such musical projects as “Les Enfants De Paris”, “Pop’s Machine”, “Sample Brothers”, and others. Also, he is an active member of the creative group [antiparty gang] and organizer/curator of media-art festival REPLICA .Duo released their first mini album "Akkord I On" on Top-40 internet label. Their full length CD-R album is available at REPLICA label .
