Colectivo Mithology is a Madrileñan based collective with the emphasis on psychedelic trance culture with its music scene, mainly psy-trance music and psybient, interest in related art and always some room for experimental music and so called weird stuff.
At the same time we feel completely positive about collaborations with other similar collectives and artists dedicated to other styles of music (as long if it sounds innovative and adventurous, elegant and with heart) and its common artwork.
Exercising tolerance, seeking mutual understanding and considering others by exchanging ideas with certain artists, collectives and friends in general through the way have without a doubt been one of the main reasons why we are the first collective in Madrid to represent and inform people about trance music on the streets of Madrid through offering a street parade and being part of the first psy-trance event in the north of Spain.
1. Beat Da Street Project @ MadridThe Beat Da Street Project is a street parade followed by another event in a park and brings together 4 different and interesting cultures.
Psychedelic trance culture will go hand in hand with cyber culture and its proper music scene, breakcore and industrial.
Furthermore 13 Lunas and their workshop and a director on documentaries on indigenous people will represent Mayan culture while different sorts of street performances will be seen.
Find out more info about our project to trance up Madrid on our other My Space page and enjoy the video below:

2. Aisa Festival @ Spanish PireneosAlways with the intention to keep on moving forward with our crew, we are also the ones who feel like helping out a small village up north in the Pireneos of Spain by bringing together young people through music at Aisa Festival.
As you can easily understand, being part of the event also helps us, to be able to express ourselves.
That is why we saw ourselves involved in a project to encourage young people to go visit the nothern part of Spain and be part of the first rock and psy-trance festival that has taken place in a small and beautiful village called Aisa.
During 3 days (25th - 26th - 27th July) we have participated with the village people and the festival organization and offered all sorts of activities for our friends and families and visitors to promote this town.
A football field at Santa Juliana in Aisa has been used for rock concerts: during two nights, some local upcoming rockbands had the chance to get on stage at this beautiful location.
Another smaller area next to this football field has been used as a place to listen and dance to electronic music: different Madrileñan colectives (AIAM Project, Leopardtron, Kinky Aliens) came together and mainly celebrated with psy-trance and psybient music at a picnic spot. Decorating, organizing and having fun with it has been our part of the festival.
There were also activities organized by the village people, like street theater, a market and even some massage. There is also a swimming pool right between the mountains that has been used durig this weekend, right next to where the concerts were planned.
But above all, it is a festival meant not only to bring people together through music, if not to enjoy being on yourself or with your friends in nature...

Check out on this lovely project and see the pictures of the village Aisa and the festival location at its My Space page:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Colectivo Mithology would like to know all of you creative, humble, intelligent and fun people and other collectives to work with for a mind expanding flow.

Good examples of people we've worked with through the way are Colectivo Hypnótica, visual artists using screens, slideshows and video:

Then there is Wendy Trip Colours, a self taught artist in many ways. She is a decorator, painter and performer. See her work below (all coloured things you see).

So, now you know about us :)
Have a nice one!
