About Me

I write and record music in my "spare" time; not much of that, I'm afraid. Since I'm not into giving live performances (which might be difficult, considering I play all of the parts in the studio), most everything is done in my home studio. I'm not really a sound engineer, so apologies for the amateur mixing; that's something I hope to polish a bit through networking and experience.

WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET? Seriously?
Sharon Gless.
Tyne Daly.
J.D. Salinger.
Edgar Cayce.
My real father.
My long lost friend James.
My friend Eli (where are you?).
Myself at 15.

The WISHING WELL clip

It's about being sent off to somebody else's war. Not that I know anything about that, personally. This is a really rough clip with really rough vocals, so apologies for that.  I just felt that...

Song rotation

Added back a couple of blasts from the past.Apologies for the iffy vocals. I'm tellin' ya, it's the hardest part of recording for me-- and mixing, for that matter.Okay, I'm more of a song writer/arra...

Simon & Garfunkel Cover Song

We all have to have a little fun some time, right? So I spent yesterday recording this cover of "The Only Living Boy in New York." It's not perfect, but it was a lot of fun and I learned some things...

The Lighter clip

Added a clip from another song I started work on this evening (or I should say, "RE-started," as I scrapped an earlier recording), called "Lighter Than Air." I've done the whole rhythm (guitars) trac...

The Rhythm of the Trees

So I was just playin', a little rhythm-n-pop guitar, some acoustic bass, wanted to break in that Crybaby pedal-- hooked it up to the keyboard.  It's all pretty loose & meandering, really.Okay...

Yep, a Christmas song... complete with train whistle

Yeah, so I jumped on the bandwagon this year. I didn't intend to. I swear that when I woke up this morning, I had OTHER plans. But all of you creative folk out there know how it happens, right? It...
