Both myself and the other members of Aesop's are very much looking forward to recording the new forthcoming album, We havn't decided on a title yet, only that it's going to be a tribute to Eric "Spag" Sanders our former guitarist who throughout his history with Aesop's has always been, and will always be more like family than a band member. He was a phenomonaly talented musician and a true friend, and was taken from this earth far too soon. I sincerly doubt I'll ever stop missing him and I know that goes for all of us. Before the band split up in 2000 we had already written several songs intended for the 2nd album with Spag which due to circumstances were never recorded or released, and both before and after the split he had written a number of other songs with individual members of the band...We are hard at work getting all this material put together and recorded properly with a few new additional songs to boot. All of these songs are potential hits in my book and this promises to be a very powerful and heartfelt album which new and diehard fans alike are going to be amazed by. The love we all shared for Spag will pack these songs with an intensity befitting his memory and hopefully allow the world to hear some of his greatest works and come to respect,admire and love him as we do.
