Welcome,
we are the "Official Street Team" for supporting the awesome Finnish Band BLINDED RAIN- worldwide!
We can call us "Official", because this Street Team is active in mission and name of the Band self- and our work here runs in directly association with Blinded Rain!
Join the Street Team around the fantastic music and be a big help for supporting the Band...and don't forget to add the Guys with her own Band's-page :-)

What's the work of the Street Team for promoting "Blinded Rain"?
The street team will supporting the band in various cases, on- and offline:
- Distribute flyers etc. at some local gigs,events and festivals from various Band's
- Voting for songs, albums and videos online
- Writing reviews and articles of Blinded Rain gigs and Albums for Metal Magazines and online-stores- for example amazon- see also the advanced tasks for the team below!!!
- Asking for Blinded Rain- songs to be played on the local radio stations and online radio's
- Supporting the Band’s official website in some online- forums and sending myspace Bulletins around...
Here are extended team-task's for someone, who wants to do "more" for our awesome Guys over the web and personally in your hometown:
- Finding web addresses to rock/ metal magazines in the web(German - whole Europe and USA),
also to other forums where we could leave later bulletins, press releases, open topics etc...also the mail addresses of journalists from magazines (if available)
- Post addresses to the same places (if they have) where we could send promo CDs for reviews/ interviews etc...
- searching locations, maybe for gigs at local festivals or venues, maybe planning the accommodation in your hometown for Blinded Rain
- arrange interviews, working with the press and writing so reviews for them
- supporting the Band here during a tour

- Do you know radio stations that play also rock / metal music or some special programs that play that kind of music? Addresses, contact details of German rock magazines with impressum addresses?

About Blinded Rain:
The story of Blinded Rain began in 2004 when Kaide found himself wondering what to do with the bunch of songs he had written. Songs did not fit to the style of existing band and after a few seconds thinking the answer was clear.
It was time to do something new and as the outcome the first line-up of Blinded Rain (Kaide, Tapsu on drums, J. Partanen on bass) was recording the first Blinded Rain album Time ? already in the beginning of 2005 (released 2005-10-14). The existing Blinded Rain line-up saw daylight in January 2006 (Leonard on drums, Günther on bass).
New line-up started rehearsing for gigs and played the 1st gig in Rock-Korjaamo Metal Fest in Mikkeli on the 8th of August 2006.
Blinded Rain was also writing new material and noticed soon that the music was spontaneously moving to a bit heavier direction. Band was very satisfied with the new songs that arised and decided to enter the studio next autumn for recording Vampire MCD.
Vampire was recorded at Sundicoop studio in Savonlinna in September-October 2006 and it was released on the 13th of December 2006.
After the release Blinded Rain played some gigs and started writing new material to the next full-length album Destination Unknown. Band decided again to record the music in Sundicoop studio with Tuomo Valtonen. Recordings and mixing were ready in February 2008 and the album was mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila.
Destination Unknown will be released on the 23th of April 2008 and the album release gig will be played at "On The Rocks" -club in Helsinki at the same day.
