Regular haunts include various gigs, libraries and airports. I am a nomadic creature with a coffee fixation that rarely stays in one place. Apologies in advance.
I am honoured to be a part of the worlds largest viking age elite warrior brotherhood, known and feared across the nine worlds - The Jomsvikings. I have begun training with the Jomsborg Elag UK in Archway, currently with my beloved Langseax, Rúnvarr.
I also spend a great deal of time with my Recurve bow, and hope to shoot for the Elswood Bowmen later this year.
I enjoy the thrill and diversity of language, and I am currently studying Norwegian, Finnish and Icelandic in my spare time. I have always read a great deal, and still do. Consequently, my home is slowly becoming a library in it's own right.
Furthermore, I am interested in all things battle worthy, historical and mythological. I distinctly remember peering into the hollowed out ship at the burial ground of Sutton Hoo as a young child, wondering how an item of such cultural and historical significance had slipped through time unnoticed until the year 1969, when it was recovered, (almost in it’s entirety,) despite the theft and pillage of countless ages and periods gone by. But despite such enthralment, my loyalties never lay with Dark-Age Britain, never once strayed in wonder to the seats of the round table. Instead, from these wonders, the rapture I feel for the Northern Lands and the historical enemy of the Saxons to this day issued forth. They became the very waking pursuit of my every day life.
And I would not have it any other way...
My BETTER HALF amazes me as he has yet to make a sharp exit after discovering all of the above. I am incredibly fortunate, and treasure each second of his company.

As for spare time, I am a proud editor of the ever-growing music database site Metal From Finland which was created in 2007 by my good friend METALGOD . In the crypts of MFF lie hordes of information regarding the biographies, news bulletins, images, interviews, video and audio samples, tour dates and releases for over 390 different bands and artists that have been spawned in the land of north.
