JUST IN CASE YOU WONDER WHO THE FUCK WE ARE...
The "Molten Metal Productions" project starts in the early eighties around the fanzine "Molten Metal" (7 issues in 2 and a half years) and the "Molten Metal Radio Show", on air for 2 years in the same period. "Molten Metal Productions" was the branch that did a small mail order to try to distribute material of almost obscure bands, the first that comes to mind is NY's own Black Virgin, for which we did also the fan club for a while (Bloodbrothers). The magazine focused on Thrash Metal, HC, Crossover, Doom. We've been the first in Italy to review the debut album by the mighty Saint Vitus, and we're proud of it, probably because we've been one of the few metal magazines in Europe to be on the SST mailing list at the time... Along with the international underground scene, we’ve always featured a lot of Italian bands on the magazine, not just the “big” names like Strana Officina, Vanadium, Vanexa, Death SS, Steel Crown, but also a lot of others like, to name a few, Shining Blade, Airspeed, Raff, Sinners, Sabotage, Rollerblade. And because we were a Metal-HC fanzine hailing from Florence, we’ve often featured bands from the mighty Granducato HardCore scene, and a lot of Italian HC bands in general, Raw Power, Indigesti, Negazione, et al. This was, and still is today, our attitude towards the music scene. The whole experience ended up in the late eighties, when the staff moved to London, tired of Italy's music scene (not talking about the bands... we're talking about the media and the record industry). In the mid nineties we're back in Italy after various experiences in England, and "Molten Metal Productions" became a real label, as a branch of the Abraxas Records Group. A list of the albums we've released at the time includes Tossic's Stato Brado, the debut albums of Abnegate and Nosferatu, few European releases of Brazilian bands like Genocidio, Pentacrostic, Golem, Nauseous Surgery, FDS, and the great Sweden’s own Hypocrite debut album featuring LG (Entombed) as guest vocals on two tracks. As Thrash Metal answer to the “I’m now going mainstream” Sub Pop singles club, we started the “Molten Metal Death Club”, a 7" singles club with releases, amongst others, by Electrocution and Hypocrite. We called it a day again when we get involved in a new metal label, still part of the Abraxas Records Group, called Earmark. On this label we've released, in joint venture with the Sanctuary Records Group, vinyl reissues of original albums by Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep, Motorhead, Girlschool, Angel Witch, Diamond Head, Raven, Venom, Girl, Samson, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, MC5, GBH, Discharge, Kreator, Celtic Frost, Voivod, to name a few. But at the end of 2007 we felt it was time to re-launch the Molten Metal Productions project again. We relocate the label to London, open up a label management office that takes care of production, distribution, publishing; we signed a deal with Larione 10, one of the best recording studios around, now part of the M.M.P. project, and... THE CANNONS OF DESTRUCTIONS HAVE BEGUN!!! On the back you’ll find our tentative release schedule for the months to come, and these are just the things we've signed so far. More cool new bands and a massive amount of great vinyl reissues are on their way... stay tuned and BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR STREET TEAM TODAY!!!

Forbidden Flowers
Scanty visual work built all around the track by Paolo Favati Forbidden Flowers (from L'Insolita Compilation, non-conventional electronic music, released by Pippola Music) Thanks to every personal imprint from all these different and non-conform image & sound searchers, this film took his manner within the encounter between pictorial antiquity and electronic modernity.

L'Insolita Compilation
The compilation involves: Gianni Maroccolo and his new band (IG, with Ivana Gatti); Paolo Favati,s remix of "Ongii" by CSI and Forbidden Flowers, a prewiev of his upcoming solo album; Blume, a sophisticated indietronic pop band; Cpt.Nice, sort of 21thCentury Devo; A.M. Boys, an electro-post-kraut duo with German influences; Pt-r, sound researcher devoted to field recording; an electronic cover of a Morricone's legendary theme.

Pankow
European band based in Florence, Italy, whose core consists of multi-instrumentalist/ Maurizio Fasolo and German vocalist Alex Spalck, with the stable collaboration of Paolo Favati and Enzo Regi. Their music has always been coherent since their birth...they have never betrayed their philosophy to turn to easy gains.

NINE INCH NAILS remix
Paolo F. Rmx Only One by NIN the rough mix version from the NIN. A pence for your thoughts! If you feel like, write your review. We'll appreciate it.
