Hi, my name is Marco Casaglia, I am a record producer, remixer,sound engineer, and sometimes dj too.
From pop to jazz ,dance, tecno, world music.
For over a decade I have been recording and mixing music from around
the world and across the spectrum of musical styles.I have spent several years working in top studios
collaborating with international artists like Sainkho Namchatka,
Terem Quartet, Ayub Hogada, Patrick Hernandez,.....,
top of the charts italian artists such as Litfiba, Renato Zero,
Claudio Baglioni, Mia Martini....
and top musicians and producer such as Peter Erskine, Palle Danielsson,
Bill Brufford, Aston Harvey from Double Trouble, Giancarlo Bigazzi....But at the same time,since the late 80s, I have been active in electronic
and experimental music, ,working in studio and on stage around Europe
with bands such as Pankow and Neon. Collaborating with producers like Adrian Sherwood, Paul Kendal, Paolo F. ,....And also composing and remixing music for miscellaneous record companies and
publishers like Polydor, Contempo Records, Expanded Music, East West,
Irma Records, Universal,....
including founding the dance label "Amoco" for Irma records
and the label "Frantuma", distributed by Soul Trader and mainly operating
in the U.K. territory
I have spent part of The last few years engineering and producing world and jazz music and I have also com posed a few soundtracks for art documentaries
But my my work is mainly focused on mixing, remixing, composing and producing dance and electronic music,collaboratingsometimes with djs and producers like
Nick Hussey, Stefano Noferini, Blade from Jestofunk, Alexander Robotnick. ,....I have also setup the project High Tide that can be
either a dj set or a Live Set where I perform on stage,togheter with some
musicians, some of my old and new productions in an enriched formula.Recently I have mixed the single of Mondo Candido’s new cd Bonjour l’amour
and part of the La(te)st album of Alexander Robotnick.
