Known as Talent he has hit the game with a very unique sound coming straight out of Minneapolis, MN. First started off creating classical music then branched off with just about every genre out there. He says " I would rather make multiple genres of music rather than limiting myself and kinda keepin tha lidz on"His passion for music as he says keeps growing more and more every day. Since the age of 4 Talent has been playing the piano and ever since 5th grade he was making beats.
as he says "I was the only kid my age makin beatz. Its actually kinda wild looking at it now because the beats I was making back then were actually pretty well made for a 5th grader with a keyboard bigger than him. I tried to make every song different enough to show a good sense of diversity but similar enough to have a recognizable style to call my own."He says that he always just gets frustrated listening to the radio because it’s just so full of this commercial lifestyle which is something he is not interested in. Now granted he says there are a number of very respectable artists out there and he’s slowly but surely making a name for himself.
Currently attending the High School for Recording Arts founded by T.C Ellis, he claims "Without that school my dreams and goals would be a much more distant destination and complicated process" . Studio 4 as the school is also known as is having a documentary/reality series filmed about whats it’s like being a student there and how music ties in the students lives in and outside of school. The show will be airing on MTV around summer of 08. The series will be entitled Hip Hop High.Talent also talks of how MN has never quite been exposed to the music industry as a place that’s full of talent. "Again granted there is a handful of artist that have had enough success to prove them wrong" he claims "but still i believe it could and should be a much greater number.Talent says "It’s just kinda funny how this industry is just starting to recognize the North for their talents in music. My boi Serious came to me one day and put me on to this word...NorthHop he said... which would be our style of music. Westcoast has their specific sound as well as the East and the South but when it comes to North its very rarely mentioned or more so even known about. This is where I feel we (Musical Arts Community) come in, and I say we because how selfish would it be of me to try and accomplish this dream/goal by myself? I see it like the more talented and dedicated individuals we have working with us here the better our chance for being heard and which better way to give back to the community than to "break bread" with tha ones that helped me get here and that stayed loyal and faithful to my dreams and goals"more later stay tuned......
