I'd like to meet:
"Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me."
―The Code of the Sith[src]
"The Sith are people who are very self-centered and selfish. There used to be many Sith, but because they hunger for power, they killed each other off, so now there are only two - a master and an apprentice. Sith rely on their passion to get things done. They use their raw emotion, their hatred, their anger, their bitterness - which is the dark side of the Force. The Force is what binds the galaxy together, and it has a good side and a bad side. The Sith learned how to manipulate both sides of the Force, and then they fell into the trap of being corrupted by the dark side. The Jedi Knights are like marshals in the Wild West. It's their job to make sure everyone is protected, to bring peace. They are the enemy of the Sith, because the Sith want to dominate the galaxy, to control everything, and for a thousand years they have had a plot against the Jedi. So, in this movie, it is time for them to seek revenge against the Jedi for perceived injustices and to carry out that plot."
―George Lucas on the Sith[src]
"What fuels your power with the Force but your passion? The stronger, darker emotions. Anger, hatred, fear… these passions empower us."
―Yuthura Ban[src]
"The Sith and the Jedi are similar in almost every way, including their quest for greater power. The only difference between the two is that the Sith are not afraid of the dark side of the Force. That is why they are more powerful."
"The Sith rely on their passion for their strength. They think inwards only about themselves."
"And the Jedi don't?"
―Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker[src]
"we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dreams." Willy Wonka
"He will strengthen himself through pain."
―Jacen referring to the Sith Lord's path
"The Force gives us all power, even the Jedi. It is our mastery of our passion that gives us the strength they lack." - Yuthura Ban
“The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal.â€-Aleister Crowley
Darth Malice: "None of us are evil, right?"
Darth Solaris: "I've killed quite a few people, that doesn't make me evil, does it?"
Darth Malice: "No, if you wake up, and the thing that gives you the greatest boner is killing people... that makes you evil."
"Savior, conqueror, hero, villain. You are all things, Revan, and yet you are nothing. In the end you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone."
-Darth Malak
The farther into the future that predictions are made the more accurate they become.

"The landscape we inhabit is an everchanging one, Senator. One moment we are in the light; the next we are in the dark, left to find our own way through. If events could truly be divined—if one were to be granted such awesome power—then perhaps the future could be directed along one line or another. But until then, we stumble through, groping blindly for the truth."
- Emporer Palpatine
Good is a point of view--the Sith and the Jedi are almost exactly the same. The Jedi may claim to be in favor of democracy, but in fact they function as a ruling elite, making their decisions among themselves. They occasionally submit to the authority of the legislature, and they seem to respect the rule of law, though whose law it's hard to say. By and large, however, they decide among themselves what they're going to do and when it's OK to break the law and defy the civilian authority. They are, in fact, utterly anti-democratic, like a militia that owes nothing to civilian authority.
"If I do not wish to engage, I can hold my ground with nothing more than a line drawn around it. The enemy cannot engage me in combat; I distract him in a different direction. "His form is visible, but I am formless; I am concentrated, he is divided… "… By reinforcing his vanguard, he weakens his rear; by reinforcing his rear, he weakens his vanguard; by reinforcing his right flank, he weakens his left; by reinforcing his left, he weakens his right; by reinforcing every part, he weakens every part." -Sun-Tzu, The Art of War
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. The Buddha
Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen. Albert Einstein
