nola native and jaded ex-raver girl. it's been a few years since the last massive party i went to but i am still plauged with the lingering "e-tardation" from 9 years of traveling the u.s. and europe searching for the infinite beat. hurricane katrina changed a lot of things for me. i used to buy shitloads of records and spin breakbeat but that just isn't much of a priority for me anymore. i still listen to the music and talk about maybe getting it together and do some studio production of dancefloor friendly tracks with a new orleans twist. no one has tried that one yet, so don't steal my idea. (this town has become small enough, so i will find out who you are.) since djing has taken a backseat, i've been hard at work in the visual sense of things. mostly creative interior design and graphic design work. i do think about the old days a lot, before that horrible storm came in and fucked up my world. in some ways life is a lot better now. new orleans feels different. everyone around me has the same issues, so i don't feel to stranded in a sea of chaos. we all loose our minds here and there. the fact that i live in a post-katrina new orleans gives me a sense of livivng an important part of history. it's a surreal world watching the city you grew up in heal from this.Generate your own contact table!
