Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Guitarist - Steve has been involved in the Nashville music industry for the past 12 years. Steve has been a staff writer for RCA/BMG, MCM and Dream City Music. After years of staff writing he now owns his own publishing company, Turnip Green Music. Steve's co-writers include - Red Lane, Hank Cochran, Max D Barnes, Vern Gosdin, Harlan Sanders, Dean Dillon, and Mac Vickery. Steve has written many independent cuts, and had a cut; "Everybody Knows", on Dean Dillon's album Hot, Country, and Single. Being an artist himself, Steve has retained many of his own works for personal use. Over the years Steve has performed in the local Nashville area as well as in the following venues - Fan Fair with Merle Haggard, Johnny Paycheck, Charlie Daniels, Steve Warner, Ricky Van Shelton, and George Jones; on tour with Dean Dillon; and road work with Vern Gosdin. Steve has played guitar with George Strait (Writer's album, vol.1, The Fireman). Steve Oliver is finishing an album (produced by Red Lane), hoping to find a home for it soon.
