CONCLUSION
Influences: I was introduced to music at an extreme early age. Perhaps, even as a fetus, my father would be playing his old 78's on his brand new Admiral TV/Turntable console that he bought in the early 50s. I was born in 1953 -- I do remember my dad loving show tunes, but he was a Big Band fan all the way! Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, and a symphonic host of others filled my home before my birth and to my earliest remembered thought.
Then my oldest sister took over the musical atmosphere and the house began to rock in more ways than one -- with Elvis, Pat Boone, Brenda Lee, Bobby Darin and much more throughout the late 50s and early 60s:
Then in February of 1964, my musical life began - - - the Fab Four flew from Liverpool and landed in America and their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show gave me deep passion for music. From that point, I began a music journey searching for the the best the music I could find:
. . . and yes, I was sucked into the late 70's Black Hole called DISCO!!!! . . .
. . . fortunately, a few friends got me through those years and help me into detox and dried me out with a large dose of folk music and Fleetwood Mac and a few other rockers popular at the time:
In 2007 . . . I found out the joy of searching for new music on My Space . . .
Then came 2008 . . . the year, my brother introduce me to -- www.thesixtyone.com -- and my life will again, NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!!! Now, I can search for NEW, GOOD, MUSIC and not be told what to listen to by THE MAN again!!!!!!!!!!! The internet, technology and all the wonderful free-spirited musicians in the world today now can be found and I get to choose who I think is the best:
