The Moving Lights

..Melt(Romeo+Juliet) Out Soon!!

About Me

Meet The Moving lights, a four piece band who specialise in original alternative acoustic music.Forget what you think you know about acoustic bands. Don't expect tired covers or overly melodramatic ballads. Instead be ready to hear an honest and unique blend of a wide variety of genres, delivered with unrivalled enthusiasm and ever increasing professionalism and accuracy. The band have had an excellent summer so far! With a string of gigs all over South Wales including the main slot at the trendy glo bar in cardiff, a headlining slot at the TJ's minifest in Newport and an opening slot at the Buffalo Bar Micro Festival. There has been plenty of activity and it shows now signs of slowing down! The next few months will see The Moving Lights appearing at the Wa-Bala music festival in North Wales as well as more gigs in and around Cardiff, including the Clwb Ifor Bach with The Jan Watkins band and Silence At Sea, and a spell on the Oxjam tour bus which will see the band entertaining the public on a touring open top bus!!Along with the non-stop gigging the band are also set to return to the studio to record thier new single "Melt (Romeo+Juliet)". The three track cd will of course include the title track as well as the highly strung "Fashion is the new F-word" and an acoustic version of the brand new track "Together (they will burn)" The single is destined to be released at the Clwb Ifor Bach show on the 9th of october so make sure your there if you want to get your copy! With further talks of a brief UK tour happening during November it is an exciting time for the band and with every performance their confidence grows. Be sure to check them out at one of their upcoming shows and don't forget to visit this page regularly to hear the latest recordings and get the latest info on the bands plans for the rest of the year. The Moving LightsProfile edited with T.M.E V4.4
