Oxjam 2008 kicks off on the 1st of APRIL 2008 (no joke!) and continues for the whole rocking month.
So whatever music you're into, from folk to funk, rock to rave we hope that you’ll want to take part in Oxjam in April and organise a music event (it doesn’t matter how small) to raise money and help end poverty with Oxjam. It’s really easy and fun to do. You can download a toolkit and loads of other online resources, and get in touch with the Oxjam Team at www.oxfam.org.uk/oxjam.
Calling all music fans, musicians and live music promoters in Cardiff!
Oxfam is now recruiting volunteers for Oxjam - Oxfam’s biggest, most ambitious music event ever! It is a DIY music event taking place throughout the whole of October consisting of music events put on by the general public. The Oxjam Team are hoping to recruit 1000 voluntary Music Event Organisers from all over the country. It's a great way for people to learn more about putting on events, meet new people and raise loads of money for Oxfam's work.
We want to recruit as many event organisers as possible in Cardiff and the surrounding areas (across Wales, actually). If you'd like more information about becoming an event organiser in Wales, or about the other ways you can volunteer with Oxjam, message us here or visit www.oxfam.org.uk/oxjam.
We need people like you to make Oxjam happen!
