Hank Barrick - NEW SONGS UP!!!!!!!

Hank Barrick have come a long way since they played thier first gig in September 2004 at the Ark in Ayr. This line-up was not what people know it as today with only Andrew Hill and Stuart Gerrie (Guitar and Bass respectively), appearing alongside Martin Yeudall (The Trend) on lead vocals and Sean McGeoch (Ralka) on drums. This set list consisted of mainly covers and a few originals. Since it became clear Stuart and Andrew wanted to write and perform their own original music they had to search for a permanent line-up.Knowing that Martin Yeudall had priorities elswhere as did Sean McGeoch, Andrew and Stuart searched for a drummer and a singer. Craig Dewar an up and coming drummer and Barry Nelson champion Karaoke singer had a few practices with the band and gelled well but they felt they needed another guitarist to add strength and depth to their overall sound. It was at this point that Sean McGeoch showed interest and after a few practices he left his previous band Ralka as a drummer and joined Hank as a guitarist.Now the final line-up was in place. Hank, after only two weeks together played their first gig at the Ark in Ayr. Since then the have played at venues all over Scotland such as King Tuts, Barfly and The Tunnels as well as supporting Mindless Self Indulgence. They have created a hype around Ayrshire with their unique blend of dance, rock, rap and funk and have recently won the SPIN Battle of the Bands.They are still playing in the Ayrshire and Glasgow circuit and have released their debut E.P which will be given away at upcoming gigs, and have just finished recording their second E.P.
