About Me

March 1991...Nirvana was going on...Ralphus was also...Ralphus is not an original name (for our band) but then again it is, because we mis~spelled it...but we didn't do it on purpose...anyway...Ralphus is a band back in March 1991 through October 1992 in that tumultuous yet exciting period in American unpopular/non~popular/should~have~been~popular music...we formed/practiced in the back~room of "Beyond Comics" on Main Street in Medford Oregon every week~end, sometimes doing an occasional "Van Halen" request from drunken people from "the Library," a bar across the street...we did two shows at Medford's (originally " ['Relatively~Slim'] City" [in the 1970s]) "Nite Lites," later "Remix" dance club; the first free, the second with a one dollar entry fee...the second show was filmed and the video cassette is in the Deschutes county dump...future archaeologists may un~earth this important piece of our story...when two of the members moved to the Washington State grunge scene in October 1992, the band kept going anyway, as you can see, it's still here! RALPHUS FOREVER, MASTER!!!
