I have 2 childen who I like to keep an eye on here...I mean, they were the reason for my opening an account. Imagine my surprise to actually rediscover old friends and make new ones!?!I've been married for 14 years to a really good man...I know everyone says this stuff, but in my case it's actually true. I like him as much as I love him, and so far so good.I work at a fancy schmancy private school, and every day it's like driving into a picture postcard of old New England.I'm happy and lucky, and appreciative for all I have...although, I'd take more!

My Interests

Anything non-work related is interesting...I love tooling around museums and galleries, and most Saturday mornings you can find me at the farmer's market.I love to cook and feed my friends.

Music:

Elvis, Souxie and the Banshies, Gorillaz, Beck, Al Green, Twilight Singers, and all things 70s...disco? aw, yeah...bring it on. (I do a mean Carley Simon!)

Movies:

You know, I started to write some down, but the list seemed crazy...I love everything from the original "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" to "Resevoir Dogs"...seriously, I'm all over the place where movies are concerned. Netflix is rocking, though, I have to say. Cannot believe I held out for so long!

Television:

Just about everything on HBO...Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Big Love...although I'm also a sucker for way too many reality based programs...Survivor? Sure, why not? Project Runway? Definitely! Blow Out? Absolutely.

Books:

I love to read, and will read just about anything...it's the curse of having my father be an English professor, I'm sure.I've loved John Irving for a long time, and my favorite of his novels is "Cider House Rules".The latest great read I've had was "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. I would recommend this to everyone...it's a love story full of fantasy...very creatively written and just a wonderful book.
