novelty rock by the way of healing with laughter. one hot stinky summer day i thought to record my friend mikes vocals. i had been in some serious metal bands over the years, writing, playing and performing some difficult hard jammin tunes but on the summer of 2001 i wanted to have some mindful fun. the idea being to have simple little songs with bull in the china shop type of vocals howling over the innocent sound of guitar, bass and the cheapest drum machine i could find. in the past you could always find mike singing along with his favorite songs on cd or radio whatever while he was ripped drunk. so i let him go over some original tunes and that’s when the laughter began. we’ve been recording tunes ever since. so ladies and gentlemen i bring you chili dog rock.
