!!!UNAUTHORIZED FANSITE!!! The band is in "standby modus" since 1985 and there is still no official home to remember the output of one of the most creative and innovative german bands of the late 70ies and early 80ies. Developed from the ashes of the agit rock combo LOK KREUZBERG (1972 - 1977), the four guys got famous with singer Nina Hagen as NINA HAGEN BAND (1977 - 1979) before they got even more famous without her as SPLIFF (1980 - 1985). The members also did solo/side projects like MITTEREGGER, COSA ROSA or PERXON and were heavily producing other acts like NENA, DIE ÄRZTE, EXTRABREIT, ULLA MEINECKE, MAURENBRECHER and many others. After one album as FROON without Mitteregger and with english singer Lyndon Connah in 1988 the members concentrated on solo, soundtrack and production work.
