After 2 years of playing emotionless pop-punk and high school shows, the members of the now defunct Faking Interest decided to begin a new project entitled Don’t Call It a Comeback. This new band has tried to stray away from the pop-punk genre with the introduction of an organ, mixed with a variety of lyrical subjects, layered over a more appealing sound. You won’t find any “perfectly placed screams†or lines about slitting your wrists with a broken piece of glass from a vase your ex-girlfriend gave you; the songs that come out of these three men are true and from the heart. Having shared the stage over the past few years with acts such as Three Days Grace, The Junior Varsity, Gratitude, The Spill Canvas, and 504 Plan, the boys are no strangers to playing to large crowds. They have played throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, at venues such as The Rave, Congress Theater, Wheaton Grand Theater, and the Monkey Wrench. While the boys have been trying to get their foot in the door of the Chicago music scene for a few years now, they have a new attitude and new songs to help them finally get some of the recognition they deserve.BUY A T-SHIRT AT OUR NEXT SHOW===
