About Me

my name is john paul iacoangelo, AKA boomer. born and raised in philly, but now live in los angeles. i am someone who is addicted to learning. i love to experience new things, but never forget the ones that are familiar. i been around the world a few times and experienced MANY things people don't experince in a lifetime.
being young, i enjoy social atmospheres, either it be musical theatre or drinking a bottle of jack daniels before a philadelphia eagles/flyers game.
Being outdoors always makes me happy. nonetheless, staying at home, comfortable on the couch is with someone you are comfortable with, most of the time, is more memorable. i love all my friends on this site and the indifferent 'special bond or memory' i have with each.
BEING SIMPLE and PERSISTANT IS KEY. my life WAS, IS, and hopefully, WILL CONTINUE to amaze me. i love what life has to offer, you have no choice. think positive. =) (and its ok to be lazy sometimes.)

My Interests

spice; either in life or food, traveling, deep sea fishing, listening to others problems/stories, photography, cinema, domestic and intern'l politics, keeping fit, philly sports, music, cooking & cleaning (thanks mom!), potato chips, getting my ass cheeks rubbed like pizza dough, being organized and clean, going shopping without a clue, playing rummy, ea nhl 2004-5...again, to be honest...I am interested in things from molecular stem cell bonding to partying till someone pukes. I just love what life has to offer.

I'd like to meet:

i would like to meet a girl, who is easy and turns into a pizza around 3am! well, since that cant happen..."sigh"...someone trustworthy, social, and has a broad spectrum of interests and can handle a 'out of control' sense of humor!!!!!!!

Music:

I listen to groovy-grooving types. classic rock, 70â€™s funk, hippie shit, ska, hip-hop, bluegrass, indie, classical (relax), electric blues, and jazz! The FREE CD's you get in RELIX MAGAZINE are fabulous!

BLUES BROTHERS, jaws "we're goin' to need a bigger boat", titan ae, CITIZEN KANE, bugs life, shawshank redemption, kung fu hustle, run lola run, blow, BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID, fear and loathing, the great train robbery, the roaring 20's "whatta here, whatta say?!?"
to be honest...there are sooo many great inspiring films out there, but my favorite is the blues brothers, b/c my brother and i used to pretend we were them. (i was jake..."i need you you you, cause my souls on fire!")...butch cassisdy and the sundance kid is a MUST SEE as well.

Television:

Anything design, sports, or globally related (BBC). amazing race blows my mind! (i will be on that show, with dj bonics, sometime sooner or later.) If I canâ€™t learn, or become inspired from any showâ€¦I donâ€™t watch it and OF COURSE, 24.

Books:

autobiographies, entertainment mags, yearbooks and photo albums?

Heroes:

my entire family. van wilder, lisa lampanelli, jim norton, conan o brien, park ritter, gary oldsmen, pete ghobrial, sharon irwin (for marrying my brother), extreme makeover: HE cast & crew, peace corps...just "good, real people" that better society.
