Also, I'm addicted to this game: http://media....com/squares.swf
Anyone who's not an a-hole and who won't call me at 3am to drive to TJ to bail them out of a Mexican jail. As a joke. Because they knew I'd go. True story.
Barring that... you - if you don't take yourself too seriously and aren't a whiny stick in the mud.
I come with references. ;)
My iPod has 4200 songs on it, and I probably know every lyric to about 95% of them. I was once on Rock and Roll Jeopardy. I like pretty much any kind of music you can think of, as long as it has a melody. (I don't generally go for techno, trance, or house music because it is the same "melody" over and over for half an hour).
Tops on my list is cheezy 70's pop, 80's semi-hair bands, grunge, old school west coast rap, boy bands, and, when i'm being serious...
beatles, mozart, elton, elvis (either one), willie nelson, nirvana, sting, good live acoustic rock (a la DMB)...
anything that's not crap, really - or is at least crap in good fun.

princess bride, stand by me, godfather, braveheart, ocean's 11, philadelphia story, to kill a mockingbird, LOTR ... the list is way too long
I'm a chick. I like Grey's Anatomy and Brothers & Sisters. But I also like Lost & Heroes. Don't make me choose between Hell's Kitchen and Top Chef. Thanks to TIVO I can watch 2 hours of American Idol in 40 minutes. I am going to have to break down and get HBO because I love Entourage and Flight of the Conchords... unless they put them on the Internet. How hot would that be?
Authors, people... too many books. I was a Lit major for chrissaskes...
Salinger, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Melville, Fitzgerald, Bukowski - to name a few. Also, in spite of my chosen focus on American authors, I love Nick Hornby and will read anything he releases for the rest of my life. Same goes for Bill Bryson, whose books on travel, science and history are fantastic! I joined a book club with some friends to get me reading other things, and all it's done is make me feel "behind in my reading" again, which is no good. On my nightstand: "Don't Know Much About History", mostly because I can't even remember who won the Spanish-American war, and "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," one of whom I currently am not. I am also addicted to THE WEEK, a digest of US and World news. I try not to be more than a week behind, but I usually am.
Is SUCH a great show. I really especially love the guy who can walk through walls. My heroes have always been cowboys, and they still are, it seems. Ok, in all seriousness ... My mom, for doing the single parent thing... and I guess Oprah and Madonna for their take on the world attitude, although I think they're both wacko and cultish.
