ABOUT ARUNA:
Aruna has been singing and songwriting since she was a little girl.
Aruna has worked with many different people over the years and has produced a vast array of songs across various genres. Most recently after taking a break from singing/song-writing, she hooked up with Ari Gajraj of Listen without Borders. Ari is an accomplished musician and a very innovative and talented producer who has helped Aruna create her more recent set of tracks showcased here on her page.
Influenced by western music and eastern music from youth, Aruna brings a unique flavour to her songs that is unlike anyone else. Her experiences add depth, her zest for life adds frivolity and her talent for words makes her music memorable. Aruna's sense of melody make her songs timeless. Her unique harmonies set against original beats often combined with verses contributed by other hip hop artists make for an exciting musical experience that appeals to a wide range of audience.
Aruna doesn't believe in conforming to stereotypes. She feels most alive when conquering her fears and is always looking for the next challenge. While trying to make herself known for her singing and songwriting, Aruna pays the bills by way of her Graphic Design business. She is also an actor and model whenever the opportunity presents itself and has appeared in numerous television commercials and videos.
