Who is Soul of Ira?
Yeah, my name is on a few records and I have done some great things but it doesn't really matter what I have done, it matters what I can do!
It's kind of like James Brown said "Talkin Loud and Sayin Nothin!" Lol!
The past is not who we are it's who we were although it shapes us into who we will become.
What you should know about me is that I am very easy going and I like to enjoy life! I love life! I don't mean going to Robinson's although if that's your thing more power to ya! I like the simple natural blessings that GOD gave us to enjoy like eating good ORGANIC fruits and vegetables! I love to cook and bake healthy meals that taste good too. I like good genuine down to earth humble people that you can trust. I like people who tell the truth even if it hurts!
I love good music that speaks to your Soul. Music like Curtis Mayfield and Earth, Wind and Fire. Music for the Soul. Donny Hathaway really speaks to my Soul when I hear him sing and play. Bless his Soul!
I believe in that old saying "Evryboday Wansta Ta Sang My Blues But Noboday Wansta Ta Live My Blues!" It's so true. Gladys Night has a God's given voice but she sounds like that because of the blues in her life! Ask any of the great singers of today and they will tell you. I am a witness myself I didn't always sound like I do now. Be careful what you pray for, some blessings have a very high price and make sure that you are willing to pay that price...
Don't get me wrong, I love who I am and who I will become in time. I will take my knowledge and share it with those who will listen. It is a blessing to have two ears that will listen than to have two million that won't. As long as someone will listen I will sing...
My main goal today is to spread knowledge, wisdom and self-awareness through my music. My future goal is to learn Ancient Hebrew and visit Egypt so I can find My-story not His-story!
