About Me

I relish exploration and adventure, getting somewhat lost, finding small or neglected delights, thinking, researching, music 24/7, biking skating hiking jogging, spending hours in museums, architecture, combustion, urban spelunking, roofs and basements and industrial wastelands, overloading my schedule, throwing chocolate parties, throwing projectiles at inappropriate times, lip singing, dressing up, dancing wildly, trying wacky new recipes, reformatting hard disks, and making mischief. I am a purportedly genuine aesthete but also a thrill seeker, clearly Fred or George if I were one of Harry Potter's friends. I want to live around the world (London, Paris, Berlin, Middelburg and Rotterdam, and Hong Kong at the very least) before I settle down in beautiful Berkeley, California, the only place to which I ever truly return home... and then retire to Barcelona in carillon rockstardom.
Crazy plans: Going for master's degrees in organ and carillon at Eastman and the Netherlands respectively, a doctorate in organ or carillon or both, and devising means of taking over the biggest carillons and organs in the world and teaching an army of music minions to do the same.

Nice parking lot.

Without a hitch, we made it in--to the parking lot. But we never found our way out into the coliseum itself, because apparently the architect simply plopped down the parking lot over the entire colise...
