I love to travel and see different parts of the country and the world. I especially enjoy seeing diffferent and unique geographic features of places. i also love to read just about anything I can get my hands on. I enjoy swimming and golfing. I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan and like to keep up on entertainment-based pop culture.
Ok, I admit it ... I like pop music. I enjoy a song that's fun and easy to sing to, one that gets stuck in your head, one that makes you smile when you hear it. I am not a big fan of most rap or hip-hop. Just about any song is good for me, that is unless the singer has to scream to be heard. My favorite artists of the moment include Barenaked Ladies, Counting Crows and Kelly Clarkson. I also enjoy soundtracks both song-based and scores.
I love movies that tell great stories and end up leaving you thinking about them long after they end. Major fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, especially the extended editions of them. I also really enjoyed all of the Star Wars movies. I am a big fan of Orlando Bloom and have enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven and Ned Kelly. Other favorite movies include: American President, Big Fish, Dave, Election, Garden State, Jerry Maguire, Pleasantville and Titanic. The child in me enjoys Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and the Harry Potter films.
